Each packet contains 3.3 oz (94.6 g) sulfadimethoxine. For broiler and replacment chickens only use for the treatment of disease outbreaks of coccidisis. fowl cholera and infectious coryza. for meat producing turkeys only use for disease outbreaks of coccidisis and fowl cholera. For dairy and beef cattle use for the treatment of shipping fever complex. bacterial pneumonia. calf diphtheria and foot rot. For solution into water and oral administration. Dosage varies by species and time of year (water intake). Refer to package label. For livestock make a stock solution of one packet in one gallon of water. 20 oz. of stock solution will medicate one 600 lb. animal initially or two 600 lb. animals on a maintenance dose. One packet will medicate six 600 lb. animal initially or twelve 600 lb. animals on a maintenance dose. Treatment period is 5 consecutive days. During treatment make certain that animals maintain adequate water intake. Milk taken from animals during treatment for 60 hours (5 milkings) after the latest treatment must not be used for food. For chickens and turkeys do not administer within 5 days of slaughter. For cattle do not administer within 7 days of slaughter. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
